The Central District Health board has selected Kristin Ryan to serve as the agency's next director. Ryan, who most recently worked for the City of Boise, will take over leadership of the public health district that serves Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley counties.
According to CDH officials, Ryan brings extensive experience in public health administration and community health initiatives. Her background includes work on health policy, emergency preparedness, and population health strategies. The board cited her collaborative approach and familiarity with regional health challenges as key factors in the decision.
